At Sophrosyne Gifts & Memorabilia, every piece we create carries that spirit. We are a Canadian handcraft studio specializing in one-of-a-kind gifts and keepsakes — each made with intention, patience, and pride.

What We Make

From intricately tooled leather biker wallets and horsehair jewelry to handcrafted greeting cards and pyrography art, our work spans a range of handcraft traditions united by one common thread: nothing leaves our studio that we wouldn't be proud to give to someone we love.

Our Story

It started with a horse, a daughter, and a mother's love.

When my daughter knew her time with her beloved horse was coming to an end, I noticed her admiring bracelets made from horsehair. Rather than buy one, I decided to learn to make it myself — something more personal, made with my own hands. Word spread, and others wanted them too.

After her horse passed, I wanted to give her something to honour that bond. I found a poem that fit perfectly and designed a memorial plaque around it. Then, almost in the same breath, her dog also passed — and another design was born.

One thing led to another, and Sophrosyne Gifts & Memorabilia came to life.
